The only way I am getting this to work is opening 2 windows-both to smokingmeatforums.com and going to the thread in one and the gallery in the other. Then copy/paste the url in the post after clicking on "insert image" icon. Is this how anyone else does it?? Can I link to the gallery while creating the post without using copy/paste????

Using SMF, that is the easy way, if you want multi photos in one thread post.
Of course, if you use photobucket, you just upload however many photos one time, then copy the provided links over to SMF in your post. Even that way, both Photobucket and SMF have to be open.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't mind doing it that way, especially since it allows me to upload nice big pics. I only asked to make sure there wasn't an easier way that I wasn't finding.

I would say if you want to show all the pics in one thread you will have to do it just like you are. You can copy and paste the link to the album and let users click the link and go to it, but you can't mass post pics in one easy click.
