Bought two picinics last night. Plan on doing one Sunday. Wondering how long I have for the other in the fridge. Don't want to freeze but will if it won't last too long. Maybe I should do both and freeze cooked extra in bags and reheat in boiled water. Let me know what you folks think. Thanks

Great info, but neither is frozen yet. I have heard a brisket will last weeks in the fridge cryo wrapped. Wondering if the shoulder will last the same.

Thanks. Guess maybe I will just cook both. Give me a chance to experiment with two differant methods. Will try differant rubs, finishing sauces, and sprays. Maybe I will do a Capt morgan one and a Beam one. I don't like the idea of freezing , but also don't get to go grocery shopping that often. Of course I will post some pics.

Well wrapped...freezing has no discernable effect on pulled pork. I have had it a month later, could not tell the difference. Some say it IMPROVES it. :{)

And 6 months from a Vac Pak...great!
