Last week I put my SnP up on blocks and removed those tiny little round plastic disks Brinkmann calls wheels. My Sawzall make quick work of these pieces of crap.

And replaced them with some sweet mower wheels with a solid axle, yeah that's right, I'm rollin' cool now.

Looks good but wheres the spinners

It is a great mod and should make it roll much better!!

Awesome, now I know what I an do with the old mower that I need to get rid of. Take the wheels and get rid of the rest.

Oh yeah, it's a great upgrade, before I couldn't put it in my shop behind the house because the "wheels" would get caught on the stepping stones.

There you go!! It's basically what I did, but my neighbor gave them to me off his old mower. I think he got tired of the spicy language he would hear when I tried to move it into my shop.

Forget the spinners

, You may be able to find some chrome hub caps though

, And a chrome stack that you can adjust for the current wind direction

.
Thinking about one of those for my chargriller , dang wind comes from opposite directions over the course of a cook. I get dizzy spinning my smoker around

Hey thanks solar. My mower shelled out last weekend. Looks like the SnP is gettin some new shoes.

It's a really easy mod, I used a 24" long 5/8 threaded rod with some locking nuts and washers. The most expensive thing to buy was the 5/8 drill bit.

Take a little length (4" or so) of threaded pipe that is an OD smaller than the ID of the front legs and put pipe caps on them, slide 'em up inside the front legs and drill a cross bolt to hold 'em and you should have just about the right height extensions for the front legs to make up for the taller "wide ovals" on the rear. Throw a 3-speed Hurst stick on it and take it for a lap!

Good idea, but that sounds like to much work, the 2x4 works just fine.

I do have a brand new Mallory ingintion system sitting in my closet from my old 442 I could add to it though for faster starts.

like what ya did i took a piece of 1/2" id. x 5/8" od. tubing and did the same befor i ever rolled it out the door.
