I am looking for dry meat cure recipes. I am starting to grind my own venison and do all my own sausage.
As for my Jerky recipes Hi mountain makes the best so far. Id love to know whats in there.
The recipe that is even better but more involved is this 100 year old jerky recipe.
Shoot me your Favorite meat recipe and I will get you mine. [email protected]

Glad you fou found us and welcome to SMF !!!
Lived in Fargo for 23 years and just moved 3 months ago. In the late 80's I sold a vehicle to the General Manager of Hunters John Deere dealership; for his wife to drive.

I have tried many different jerky recipes and mixes over quite a few years; in my opinion Hi Mountain makes a very good, quality product for the price. Some say they do not want to make the same as everyone else, they want theirs to be better; I say use the same mix as they do, just make your better (That will frustrate them)!!!
