I smoked my second brisket ever, along with my first set of beef ribs. WOW! It turned out great! I used a rub called Jimmy O's Texas Spicy Rub Seasoning http://jimmyos.com/page.asp?PageID=668 on both the brisket and the ribs. Did the 1.5-2.5-.5 method on the ribs and they turned out very tender. I've never had beef ribs that good.
