I stumbled across SMF looking for info on bigger smokers. There's a lot for me to learn here from what I've seen so far. I currently have one of the char-broil offset smokers. It's been kicking around for a few years and I'm fighting the urge to move up to the big leagues for something with increased capacity. I'm pretty much at my max with parties of 20 people or so at my house. Everyone gets a taste and raves about it. Apparently people around here don't get real 'que that often. I don't think it's anything special, but my friends think that even my 'mistakes' are delicious.

I will be floating around the forums looking for info and dropping in with Q-View posts from time to time I'm sure. My friends all think I'm crazy for taking pics of my BBQ. I now know that others share in this affliction and have come here to share.

Habanero ABT's - I have no clue how people can eat these, but they love them.

I do some killer beans too, but they are camera shy so far. I'll be roaming around SMF looking for a stick burner here in the near future it seems. Until then the rusty char-broil will be turning out the Q-View treats.

With food looking that good to me she would be a keeper..glad to have sounds and looks like you got some experience..good luck on the smoker

I agree there's nothing wrong with it at this point. I'm looking more to 'add to the collection' I guess. Probably something mobile as I'm in charge of cooking for our UMD Football tailgates. Those pour souls. They used to tailgate with buckets of KFC until I showed up. Yikes.

Wow great Q view ....gota stop and clean the screen..cant stop drooling...good on ya...looks good

welcome to smt!!!! fine lookin grub u got goin on there!!! love it when a new member hits roll call and starts right off with a lil Qview!!!

Right now I'm looking in the 20x48 to 24x60 size range in a horizontal stick burner. I figure that's what I need to do the number of racks of ribs I want to do. I would eventually like to be able to do a smaller whole hog without issue as well. I keep reading everyone wishes they bought bigger, but I can't stretch my budget that far right now.

Yeah, although it does happen, it isn't real often that you hear someone say that they wished they got a smaller smoker.
