Just found your site tonight. I love it. I am very new to smoking and am trying to learn. I have had a Great Outdoors Big Block propane smoker for a few months. After a slow start, I have had some awesome results. Two weeks ago I got a used Brinkmann Cimarron at a garage sale for $50. I am looking forwar to trying it out this weekend for the first time. Any advice?

The best advice I can give is to sign up for Jeff's 5 day smoking course to begin with. Then read and ask questions when you don't understand. There's a lot of invaluable information on here! BTW, welcome to SMF.

Welcome to the SMF. That GOSM will do wonders for you, make sure you clean out that Brinkman, and reseasoning it won't hurt.

Welcome to the SMF!!
I also have a GOSM and I can tell you that you are in for some really good eats. I strongly second the advise regarding the 5 day ecourse. It's really good. So, again, welcome aboard and we hope to hear from you often.
