Welcome, I'm from St Pete too...My first advice, DON'T BUY WOOD. Go to any of our recycling drop offs that accepts "yard waste", you will find all the citrus, oak, even some maple wood that you will probably ever need, FOR FREE!!! In fact it's the only good thing about not having curbside recycling.

I recently got my hands on a used New Braunfels Black Diamond Smoker. She just needed some TLC and is now good as new. I have dabbled in smoking meats for some time now, but finally have the means to do so more seriously. I am originally from Dallas Texas, and now find myself residing west of Milwaukee Wisconsin. I am a cook at a Bible Institute here.
I know I can buy 10lbs bags of wood chunks, but does anyone else have any tips on where to find larger quantities or logs?
