Hey, on the second use of my Gosm the hose/regulator caught fire. I follwed the assembly to the "T" before anyone asks.

I gather from some of the posts that GOSM or Great Outdoors may have gone chapter 11. So I'm not sure if I can get a replacement from them.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem with the hose/regulator?

I guess all things considered it could have been much worse...

Never had that problem, I would contact them an see what ya can get done, also would contact whomever yall bought it from. Ifin worse comes ta Oh sh*t, ya can get one similar at most bbq suppliers, our fleet farm carries a fair amount a hose an regulators. I'd give the company a shot first though. Sorry fer the rotten luck, I love mine.

yes seems on the newer ones there has been a prob with that part. ck with flat broke he can prob give you part numbers and the works. would definatly try where you bought first if there is any warranty on it. if all alse fails like travco says i think you could match one up at fleet store or home depot....

Oh yea Im your huckleberry, LOL

Something happened to me on my second smoke. Unfortunately I did not leak test the connection so I chalked it up to user error.

I cant seem to find it on there site now but call them, they ship out of Indiana, here is what I ordered

Works good now
Smokers › Smoky Mountain Series › 3605BGD CONTROL PANEL ASSEMBLY1AZ002058 Subtotal $68.44 Shipping & Handling $15.00 Total $83.44

You can forget the CMF link they don't sell GOSM parts anymore because of the bankruptcy. I had a couple parts ordered that were on backorder and received an email they were crediting my credit card and would be unable to fill the order

I bought the replacement from the ebay link. I'm just a little worried because it sounds like from what I have read it is a common problem.

I guess I'll just have to "baby sit" it through several "smokes" before I get comfortable with it.

It's a shame GOSM went Chap 11, I like their product, obviously it would have been nice for me to get some support or replacement parts from them.

Make sure you leak test it when connected, I have been using mine for the past couple weeks with no problems. I did check it with soap and water this time.

I haven't heard anyone use that term aside friom the actor who played Doc Holiday in the movie Tucson with Kurt Russell. It's my favorite challenge line.

They shipped me the racks but I thought I would get an extra water pan and thats what they back ordered then canceled on me.
