Hello Everyone. I just bought my first smoker. I'm smoking some chicken now. Here's a pic. of my smoker and meat. I'm looking forward to some great advice and recipe tips. My next challenge will be ribs with a rub. Take care, everyone...

Yippiee!! another So Cal smoker!!
I am not sure why there are not more of us, we have ideal smokin weather just about year round! Well ok so it did rain last night for a little...strange..weather....
Great looking rig and it looks like you are heading for an amazing dinner!
Great to have ya, try Jeffs rub, it is really yummy.....

Nice looking smoker. I atually think ribs are easier to smoke and are a lot more forgiving then chicken. It rained last night? The weather was great out here in OC.

I actually had some buddies over for poker and did my famous midnight cornish game hens on the grill. They are smaller, but cook a lot faster and taste great with a light honey pinnaple glaze!

that glaze sounds dreamy, can ya post the recipe?
yep it was raining, on the way home from Glen Helen around San Dimas poured like crazy around 12:45 am the it was raining here (Pasadena, Arcadia) 3:40 ish...
