I've decided that the first thing I'm going to smoke is a chicken. And I'm sorry if this sounds dumb, but...if you brine a chicken, you don't add a dry rub, right? It's either one or the other? Also, could you smoke a chicken in less time if it were not whole (i.e., separated into legs, breasts, etc.)? Thanks for the help.
