Howdy! Just want to introduce myself and let everyone know how much I enjoy reading all the succulent BBQuey posts. Y'all sure can cook! My wife and I drove to Kentucky from our home in San Antonio last year, and I just had to stop in Memphis on the way. Of course we had to stop on the way back as well!

They sure know how to BBQ some pork in Memphis! Ever since I have been craving good BBQ, and I have decided to do something about it.

Unfortunately, I don't have a 'real' smoker, but I have done pretty well so far on my Weber Kettle. Most of my experience is with grilling, but I have managed to smoke a couple of briskets with decent results. Smoked some babybacks just this past weekend and they actually turned out pretty good. Hopefully I can get enough information here to go find a decent first smoker. I'll have to get my wife on board, but I shouldn't have a problem after making those ribs...

'Babyback' is my son. Our last name is Back, so thats where I got the name. Can't believe nobody else picked that one yet!?

Look forward to learning alot from all the patrons of the Smoking Meat Forums!
