When I got my smoker I asked guy in my campground for help he was the resident expert. He told me to keep the rain cap on the chimney closed. There was enough air leaks anyway. That turned out really f*****g good
After learning what I have learned here, I must say I am damn good at this stuff. All of the credit goes to you. To everyone who ask the question even If It been asked several times before and to everyone who keeps answering the same questions over and over again. Thank you!!!!

Good to have ya here, the internet is a wonderful tool for just about everything in life, isn't it. I wonder how we are gonna gather info, or communicate in another 20 yrs!

this a great site, helpful posts running continuously, people helping you via pm's, comraderie, qview, and just a geat healthy sight unlike others on the net!!!

I have learned so much here and wouldn't be able to do half the things I can do without SMF. Plus, I would have wasted a lot of time and potentially good vittles in the process

Plus, I need to thank my Sensay...Flash!!

Same here. Your not alone. Some members get tired of repeating things but i feel they should not respond to the thread if it annoys them. Never a dumb question. This place has helped me in leaps and bounds. Its fun to help friends and put out good food for the family.

I'm still very new and unsure most of the time , but can't even measure how much I've learned just from hanging out here . Gone from knowing nothing with a few misconceptions to at least being on the right track and the peace of mind that comes from knowing that any question I have has been answered here before and if I can't find it , someone will answer it again

I only did maybe one smoke before I reached out and found this place when searching the net for info. (might have found another then this place? I can't remember actually) My initial learning curve was made a lot less steeper by the SMF and it is getting flatter with each smoke. You all have been great.

A few squabbles as to how this is executed here is to be expected. Just keep focus on helping new folks as well as increasing your own Que knowledge while keeping it light and we will be fine.

I have learned alot here and continue to learn everyday
