Just recently my MES has started to periodically lose portions of the display on the controller.

I did get the 3 year service plan from SAMS when I bought it and I have called them. They said I will get a call in 2-3 days to schedule a service call. I'll keep you all posted on how it turns out.

I was talking to the manager at Sam's about my MES. I told him I had a 3 year warrantee. He said why don't you return the warrantee, we'll cover the unit anyway. I said for 3 years, he said, yes, JUST SAVE THE RECIEPT. I don't know if all Sam's managers are like that or not, worth checking into though.

Good luck!!

$40 of insurance that you already paid for is probably worth more than a Sam's manager's word, who may not be working there 2 years from now.

That's true, but he may be able to return it tommorow and not wait 2 years.

I didn't say to wait 2 years.

Thanks for the tip! I usually don't buy the extended warranties but for some reason I did this time. If I was just purchasing one I would consider that but since its money I've already spent I'll just tride it out and see if it was worth it or not in the long run.

Should be getting a call today or tomorrow I hope to schedule the service call.

In my experiences, Sam's is really easy with warrenty returns... as in fair. The reciept should ALWAYS be kept on warrenty items, obviously. But they'll honor it no matter who's working there I have found.
