I've been on this site for awhile, but for some reason have not posted. I figured tonight was a good night to start. I have gotten great advise here!
I am new to smoking. I have a Smokey Mountain propane smoker that a co-worker recommended. It is working great but I would love to build my own 55 gallon drum smoker someday.
I live in Kansas and work full time as an EMT and do photography on the side for fun money. Plan on smoking a lot more this summer. Hope to get some pics added soon. Thanks for all the help so far.

Thanks everyone. The pulled pork turned out great. Got lots of compliments from everyone at work.

I am in Pratt Kansas. We have had our share of bad weather this year.
