Yesterday at Sam's I saw the MES price was lowered to 267.00 I think. It seems early in the season to be lowering prices don't you think?

May be rare but with the economy in the tank things still need to be sold so maybe that's why it's on sale.

On another note, that's a good price for the MES. I've got an ecb but am impressed with the MES line.

In these economic times they may just be trying to move more. The lower the price goes the more members we should have

Lowes has knocked 30$ off the cost of the char-griller super that I bought the first week of May

But the sfb is still the same price.

ron i just got back from sams 10 min ago and i was looking at the mes...here in oklahoma city they were selling them for 227.00 really thought about getting one..but my wife may say something about if i brought it home..kinda like when you were young and brought a stray home and hide in your room so your parents wouldn't find out about....but the smell might get me in trouble!!!!

That woud be one HELL of a deal. I would gobble it up!

I bought one yesterday for $267 + $39 3 year warranty. $309 Out the door. Sams only sells the 40". I had ordered the 34" from WalMart for $189 but I am going to return it when it gets in. BTW, other than the height and the stainless exterior, I belive everything between the 40" and 34" is the same. All the inside is still aluminum. The only thing inside that was stainless was the loading tray for the chips.

They came out with a newer package this spring, includes cover and supposedly some minor changes to the rack or something like that.

Maybe they are selling off the last years model? My Sam's is still selling last years. Has anyone been getting a cover in their box?

Times er tough, folks ain't got the money ta spend on a new hobby er upgrade, gotta go in the fuel tank er the fridge! There cuttin prices ta try an move stock so's they ain't stuck with it come winter! Gonna get worse fer it gets better!

If ya got the cash ta spare, take advantage of these deals!

Yes, I got the cover and a very nce one at that.

A high priced smoker in today's economy. Forget it retailers are in the red all over the place. Prices on every luxury item will start falling. Watch the stocks only walmart, costco, coach and tjmax are pulling ahead. Coach become every woman in the world got one with the stim check.

In Columbia, MO the MES at Sam's today was $299 and included the cover. I am getting tires first for the pickup; but then my my my.

They are 267.00 here. Ask them about that and check their website. Also you can get a 3 year warrantee for 39.99 a great deal.

Good luck!

I got a Cajun Injector, which on the box says was built by Masterbuilt @ Joe's sporting goods in Tacoma/Lakewood for $169.99 after $30.00 off about 2 months ago. I wish I would have bought it a LONG time ago, it is awsome. I also found a place within 10 minutes of my house that sells Vac-pack briskets for $1.56 a pound which I separate into servings & vacuum pack. I also smoke regular Costco frozen chicken breasts for taco's, salads, nacho's, sammy's, dips, etc. It is high quality food at a very reasonable price. If you are creative & watch food prices & sales, at least in my area, you can eat very well on a reasonably tight budget.

Yes, you are right. I buy everrtinng at Sam's Club and the rest when on sale, I hardly ever pay regular price for anything unless I can't find it on sale. When it is I stock up on it and freeze it or store it, including paper goods.

I think I save 40% on goods this way. Sad thing is, some people I talk to are just too lazy to do this, their loss. Same people that have to have a new car every year to keep up with the Jonses.

When they get old they will wonder where their hard earned money went. JMHO. Off the soap opera, sorry for ranting.

No, that is supposedly the latest, last years build. They are all last years build. I have been on the phone with the Sam's Club Manager and they have talked to the buyer, and Masterbuilt. They all claim it is the latest model. I still beg to differ and if you look at your manual they may cover which it is. Mine has 3 models on it. Only way to know is to look on the back of the unit and see the build date or model #. There were 3 for last year and I got the first from Sams. I know there were some revisions since I had a door replaced and it was different.

Hope this helps.
Ron
