Want to make a fatty . never made a fatty . how do ya make a fatty ?done some searches on fattys . do you season a fatty ? What should you NOT put in a fatty ? What I've got so far , you get a big hunk a sausage and roll it out flat, put in some goodies , roll it and cook till 160 and hope it dont leak .

That's a great start. The cool thing about Fatty's is that there isn't a "recipe". You do what you think will be good. you have the basics down and now just go to town and enjoy.

You got it Gorilla, put in it what ever you got roll it and smoke it (Fatty that is biggrin.gif )...... You'll luv it, heck make 2 or three with different stuffings, I promise there wont be any left overs....

Just a good meaty sausage, remove wrapper and smoke, or roll in your favorite rub and smoke, or stuff with what ever and smoke. You can even wrap any of the above in bacon and smoke. What ever trips your trigger. Enjoy your fatty or fatties. Experiments you can eat and enjoy.

O.K ! sounds like i'm on the right track. if I were to want to put some bacon inside , should I pre - cook it ? I may try to wrap one too

You'll want to pre-cook the bacon so it's not "steamed" and comes out soggy.

Personally I pre cook everything that goes into the fatty except the cheese

I saw a Q Vue on a fatty recently and it had eggs in it.
