I was looking at a couple of the #41100 stainless steel 20 lb smokhouses. I will get the 2 digital thermometers with it. They are 400.00 dollars. What do you think of these?

I think it depends on what you are gonna do with them. Personally, I view them as a specialty unit for doing sausage, jerky and other cured meat products. If you are planning to do ribs, brisket and other BBQ cooking, then I think there are better and cheaper units available. IMHO, the MES (MASTERBUILT) is a more versatile, better designed electric unit. FWIW, I love my homebuilt elec. for my sausage making, etc., and while it will produce "BBQ", it just isn't the same as charcoal and wood cookers for that purpose.

agree with mulepackin on the MES, i have an MES but havent used it yet so my expierience with the MES is limeted to assembly and reading the operators manual. However i have had one of the sausagemaker smokers, 20 lbs sounds like alot but if your serious about sausage making it is too small. if you want to make summersausage full length the smoker is not tall enuff, also if making link sausage they do no hold much so multiple smokes be required. the heat control on the sausage maker is just a rheostat which is not tied into a thermostatic switch as in the MES where you select temp you want smoker at instead of hi-med-low. also the sausmakr smokers do not have a water pan if you so chose to use and probably other than the size there biggest issue was no drip pan or solution for drippings. they drip on floor and around the burner they burn to the floor and a real #$%^& to keep clean. i eventually sold my ssmkr and bought a gosm big block which i can get approx 3x the sausage in at a crack, hang summer sausages without hitting floor, plus is a more all around unit. and by the way for sausage even it is still too small. this winter bought a MES at sams for lazy smokes. hope this helps in your decisioin. not plugging for any brand but just passing on my opinion.
