I have the temp between 220 and 240 and have a chicken and a pork butt in with some hickory smoke, so far the BGE is working good and the mods I made are doin there job well. I'll get some qview up soon! Im making my own bbq sauce and if it turns out good I will post the recipe.

Sounds like you're in for a tasty smoke! That chicken will be done way before the butt, depending on how big the butt is. Hopefully you have the meats side-by-side and if not, the chicken should be on the bottom rack, the butt on the top, to avoid contamination.

Other than that, sounds like a fine smoke!!

Sounds great, looking forward to the Qview !

I have the temp alarm set for 260 so if it gets too hot I will hear it. I need more thermomters! Here are some pics!

A nice compromise for chicken/butt combo. Chicken seems best higher..and a butt is forgiving... a higher temp might mean some more 'crispies" on it...but the fat content of the butt will keep it delicious... Mmmm BARK!
