Greetings from California. We had all of the in-laws at the house on mothers day (I have three married brothers) and one of them brought his Q that he whipped up. He smoked a couple of pork shoulders and I was hooked. I've been cooking on a grill for years but this is my first (non restaurant) experience with BBQ. I was hooked!!! I have already acquired 50 gallon, 75 gallon and 120 gallon propane tanks and am putting together the rest of the parts for my rig while I decide how big I want to go. Thanks to this site I have decided on a reverse flow trailer mount system with a warmer over the firebox. and a 54k BTU propane burner to double as a turkey fryer/stove top/ etc. I can't soak up enough info from the masters lurking around here!!! I'm a fireman and can't wait to wow the boys at the firehouse with some of your recipes.
