She's finally complete! It has been a labor of love with this jewel. I wish I would have taken step by step photos but I have some of the end result.

Step 1 - Take out the motor and components
Step 2 - Cut each corner and take off the exterior walls
Step 3 - Strip all the foam out and replace with fiberglass insulation
Step 4 - Weld 4 1/2 pipe to smoker generator and cut hole in fridge
Step 5 - Use alluminum angle iron and pop rivet the walls back together
Step 6 - Pop rivet angle iron inside the box for racks
Step 7 - Cut wood dowels for hanging
Step 8 - Hook up PID controller
Step 9 - Smoke the hell out of some meat (this weekend)

There were a lot of other things that were done but this is the jist of it all. If it were not for this forum, there would have been no way I could have made this bad boy. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is one heavy duty looking fridge. Great pics thanks for the info, I am thinking of making a smoker out of a range stove or a fridge next year. Maybe both and have one be charcoal and one electric.

Nice job! I love seeing others' refer conversions. They are a labor of love as are the good stuff to come from them. Keep us posted.
