While picking up some groceries today I noticed a sale on boneless half pork loins, so I picked one up. It weighs 2.9 kg (6.4 lb) and the label says "seasoned" but I can't see any seasoning on it.

I was originally going to roast it in the oven, but maybe I can smoke it? Does anyone have any good recipes to share? (This might be my first smoke of the year - it was a loooong winter, and I was too busy with other things to get the smoker going until now.)

Just rub it up and go. It will be better than the oven.

be good to know what you had goin on for seasoning be fore any additioonal seasonin, mebe just put a simple rub on it and smoke it to say aroiund 150. wrap it up in foil and towel and let set for an hour and slice

If the package says SEASONED and you see non, it may be salt. As far as rub goes, this is what I do.
In a bowl add paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dry mustard.
Sorry I don't measure it out other than I start with 1 cup of paprika. The rest I add to taste. Mix it with a fork, rub into pork, wrap in plastic wrap and into the fridge for the night.
Hope this helps.
Andy.
