I am sure there have been other posts about smoked meatballs but I hadn't seen any. At least not until today. I see sjb3 beat me to it. Anyway, here is what I did. Mixed 3.25 lbs ground beef with 1 package onion soup mix, chopped green bell pepper, crushed saltimes, garlic powder and two eggs (more of a meat loaf type recipe but made into balls). Smoked to 160 then put in crock pot with 1 jar of pizza sauce and 1 bottle bbq sauce. I used this sauce mix for superbowl (though the meatballs were not smoked) and it was really good.
