I'm cooking up another batch of one of my favorites.

Featherbones. Or riblets as you non-nebraskans call them.

Gonna have them for lunch tomorrow.

Crap. I put the wrong pic in there. Those are the chickens from a few weeks back.

What a newbie thing to do.!

HERE they are for real.!

Walking dude.. what do you do to re-heat them? I'm wrapping them up tonight and having them for lunch tomorrow.

Last time, I just nuked them and they were still good..

I was thinking about tent foiling them in a cake pan for about 30-45 minutes in the oven at 250 this time?

Pardon my bad spelling tonight gents.. I tatally ruined em' tonight.
First.. it's STILL raining here.. it's not supposed to be. I couldn't keep the temp right. It was WAY to low. 175-200 for three full hours.. but I was distracted by the cable/phone guy trying to fix the phone.. but thats anouter story..

Plus.. I had a little too much to drink and I can't quite see straight.. and I have to work tomorrow and I'm not happy about it.

Then I thought I'd put em in the oven to finish them.. and got distracted again... and they were sizzling way too hot.. and I burned the crap out of them.. But damn if they don't still taste halfway decent. (It's that ever forgiving apple wood)

I'll get on my bike and ride again.. but I really screwed the pooch tonight. I love my family.. but I'm still gonna feed it to em tomorrow for lunch.!

This one don't even deserve a q-view cause you'll just laugh at me..

Right about now is where i nned a few words of encouragment from yua'll.

The plan doesn't always come together. Tomorrow is another day and another plan. I've been told not all smokes come out great but the next one will. Hang in there

dman.........we reheat em two ways.........rice steamer, and a 9x11 cake pan, with racks and a lil water.........then when reheated.......i brush with some bbq sauce......and let that glaze up........MAN were they good........

Well.. even tho I thought they were messed up.. the family still devoured them like there was no tomorrow.

...and they didn't taste half bad either.

Don't sweat it dman: Everybody has a off smoke now and again. Remember, there is no such thing as bad Q, there's OK Q, there's good Q and then theres holy s**t that's great Q! Your next smoke will be just fine.
