Hello folks.

I'm new here. Lots of good info on this site. I'm glad i found it. I'm relatively new to this smoking world. I build a home made offset smoker from an old 55 gallon drum. Have been pretty successfully so far. I've done the ribs, brisket and pulled pork. Had a pretty steep learning curve at first. My rig needs a lot of tuning but it's getting there slowly. I'm going to try some new stuff this season and hope to learn and maybe even help someone out while I'm here.

Welcome to the SMF. You found the best place to talk about smoking on the net. Don't forget to look at the 5 day smoking course. We all can learn something from that. Jeff did a good job.
Nice smoker. Don't see many drum smokers built that good.

Cool Smoker--where did you get the hi-heat paint with that nice semigloss finish---was it rolled or sprayed? I like it:-)
