Hey there, just starting out here. Wife bought me a smoker at Cabelas. I believe it is the Masterbuilt Electric that has the Cabelas name on it. Can also be used as a grill. Two weekends ago I smoked a Pork Butt in it. Had a hard time keeping the temperature up because of the wonderful wind. Got the pork up to 200 degrees and pulled it. Not too bad at all.

I foiled my butt, now there is an interesting statement, at 140 degrees. Then took it up to 201 degrees. Let it sit for a while in the foil then pulled it. I used McKormick pork rub, not sure if that is the exact spelling. My wife the English teacher would correct me, but she isn't here. I put yellow mustard on then the rub. It did turn out great. I am hoping that my waist doesn't go much over the 40 that it already is.icon_eek.gif
