NOPE! Just spray the inside of the ECB with Grilling Pam, fill the firepan and light it, and get away. Let it burn until it dies. If it does not get nice and hot you may need to open the latch on the side door, don't open the door, it usually springs out a bit when unlatched.
Put something under it, the Pam might run off a bit when it gets hot, depending on how much you spray on.
