It's been a while, but I figgered I'd post here about my latest endeavor, the Easter Butt. I got a 7.5#er slathered her in mooseturd and put on my lil variation of wild willies #1derful rub (mine's spicier ). I've got the butt sitting in some pecan smoke (first time using pecan, hope it's good) and things are rolling along smoothly. I got a new toy to try out for this smoke as well. a remote thermometer! nothing too fancy just a $14 guy at Wal-Mart. Seems to be working rather well, did the boiling water check to make sure that it was caled right. anyhow, pix will be along shortly, gotta eat ma breffus.
