Easter Butt!!

It's been a while, but I figgered I'd post here about my latest endeavor, the Easter Butt. I got a 7.5#er slathered her in mooseturd and put on my lil variation of wild willies #1derful rub (mine's spicier PDT_Armataz_01_22.gif ). I've got the butt sitting in some pecan smoke (first time using pecan, hope it's good) and things are rolling along smoothly. I got a new toy to try out for this smoke as well. a remote thermometer!PDT_Armataz_01_34.gif nothing too fancy just a $14 guy at Wal-Mart. Seems to be working rather well, did the boiling water check to make sure that it was caled right. anyhow, pix will be along shortly, gotta eat ma breffus.

Great to see you around here again..... I am looking forward to veiwing your Q. I am assuning you are doing the butt in the Char-griller today?

Easter butt about an hour in...its still dark.

the butt is nearing 165, then its into the foil. on a different note, here's my lil wisp o smoke having her easter treats
