Greetings! Great forums with great advice. I picked up a Brinkmann Gourmet Charcoal and a Little Chief for a whopping total of $19 at a thrift store two weeks ago. After a thorough cleaning, I made some of the recommended mods to my Brinkmann (adding a charcoal rack and lid vent holes) and had my first smoke over the weekend. My three fatties came out perfect. I'm hooked. It was actually much easier than I thought (didn't even need to add any charcoal), plus it's a great excuse to get outside and drink beer.

hehe - welcome Brian-can sure say you took the reins and went full gallop-glad to have you a part of SMF.

Welcome Bri.
