Hello I am Jim from the HILLS of east Tn. I am just beginning this "smoking" thing. I have just done 4 butts and they all turned out different (I didnt find this site till I had done them

). I have a GOSM gas wide body smoker. I love the different ideas that i have been able to see in here, I never thought of smoking a meatloaf till now. I love This site, wife might not like it because I am going to bombard her with smoked stuff now. I am going to try everything in the smoker.. HA HA Ha... hey again HELLO from the hills...

welcome to smf, i am pretty new myself and have the same unit you do, after using it a bit you catch onto temp control a little better and will be able to have more predictable results. lotsa expierience here to tap from.

Welcome to SMF. Lots of friendly knowledgable folks here. Ask all the questions you want someone will have an answer. you can smoke a lot of differant things. I have even done raw eggs. they come out like hard boiled with a smoky taste, great for deviled eggs.

Have run into another problem.... Where can one find the Mavrick 73"s? I have searched all over where i live and cant find one. Is the only option I have is over the net? Thanks.....
