Hello everyone! I am a grill nut (like most of you I assume!) who spends 24 hours a day trying to figure out how to make the perfect spare rib.

I have 3 kids, 3 dogs and 1 wife.

I love just about anything outdoors: hunting, camping etc.

I am a Youth Pastor, worship leader and like most church folk, I LOVE TO EAT...

I was once asked as a pastor if my most precious posision was my bible. I said "nope! its my grill !" - - wasnt at that church much longer..hehe

Well, let me see if I can remember all those questions...

I currently live in Forest Va, just outside Lynchburg. I am an engineer for US Cellular as my full time (meaning it pays the bills) job.

To the fella who guessed Baptist - NOPE! but not too far, I am a youth pastor in a Nazarene church. But I am friends with a lot of baptists..they let us do that now!..LOL..just kidding..

I noticed one of you had a PD shield in your photo... I think it was the guy from Richmond. First let me say Thank You for your service! Secondly, I was a fire fighter for 13 years - got hurt so no longer.

Anyway, I think thats about, and don't worry I am not shy!!

Looking forward to learning a bunch and perhaps sharing some of what little I know.

Thanks again!
John

Grilling - The most fun you can have with an open flame and a dead animal.

Fireguy,

Thanks for the welcome, brother.
This seems like a very friendly place.
