Hello everyone,
I recently built and smoker out of a 300 gal. tank. My firebox is 2'x2'x2' with an opening of 12"x12" entering the cooking chamber 3 in. below the cooking grate. It seems that it's hard for me to keep the pit above 250. My smoke stack is 6"x42" and it comes out of the end opposite the firebox at a 90 degree angle about 8". My firebox has 3 air intake vents which is round with the triangle cutouts. I wonder if I need more or bigger air intake?

Thanks in advance.
