Hello, I'm from just north of Knoxville Tennesee. I've been doing a little smoking over the last year. I've got a couple of smokers. The first one was a cheap electric smoker, and yesterday I got a Kenmore gas smoker from Sears. I haven't had the chance to try the Kenmore yet, but the electric smoker did a decent job.

I probably won't have a lot to contribute until I get better at this, but I'll be doing lots of reading here.
 
Mydnyte, Welcome to SMF there is alot of very good people here that are more than happy to help all of us newbies, don't be afraid to ask questions you always get great awnsers here. I would recommend signing up for the 5 day e-course, has lots of great information and won't take a great deal of time to go through. Look forward to hearing more from you and again welcome to SMF. Great people...lots of knowledge and some real world class smokers here. No I am not one of them! Some super smart folk here. Make sure you post some pics and don't be afraid to ask questions...people here are sup[er helpful. Be sure and check out Jeff's rub and sauce recipes. That stuff is it man!
