Just curious if anyon has had any luck freezing a fatty. I did my first one last weekend and it was great, glad I finally tried one. This weekend I'm doing two, one to slice and share during the super bowl, and another that I can hopefully put away for later.

I've had good luck using the vac sealer on pulled pork, brisket and other goodies, but I'm wondering if a stuffed (mushroom, cream and cheddar cheese) fatty will keep. I'm not so worried about vac sealing, that part will go fine, the real question is... do you think these ingredients will keep well in the freezer?

It should be fine vac-sealed. To reheat I would suggest putting vac-seal in boiling water to reheat.

Thanks ColdJava, that's exactly what I hope to do. I rejuvinate my pulled pork and brisket the same way... tastes like it just came off the smoker.

I'll report back after the thaw if I have any trouble.

i freeze my fatties all the time...

i am the only "Frankenmeat" eater in the house besides my cat, so when i smoke i make a bunch and freeze.

i reheat in microwave in slices and eat when i want it hot.

I freeze ours all the time,I think sometimes they taste better for breakfast then when I smoked them the first time.
