Well up here in Ontario it is about -15C or around 0F and seeing as I only use charcoal for BBQ I decided to make some ribs in the oven. I used an apple butter based sauce:

1 qt apple butter
1 cup apple juice
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp worcestishire sauce
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp dry mustard
salt and pepper to tase

Put them in the oven at 250 F under foil for about 3 hours and then without foil for another hour and they were fantastic. The meat was tender and tasty.
