New to this forum.

Have had my Brinkman Cimarron Ltd since August, so I am an expert! Yeah right. Have had a few failures and several successes so I am ready to get serious. The first thing I noticed is I would like to be able to smoke more product. Now, three racks of ribs with two chickens or a small brisket is all I can fit. So I am looking for an additional (or new) smoker.

With shipping cost what they are I would like to find something local or within reasonable driving distance to pick-up. (Wish I lived near Houston instead of Columbus!) Does anyone know of a manufacturer or location that stocks smokers near Columbus OH? Prefer to stick with a wood/charcol side firebox either horizontal or vertical or combo. There is a local place in town but they stock only gas and electric verticals.

Thanks for any help,

Welcome to SMF. A good place to start is the 5 day ecourse. You will learn alot from that. Also this is the best site to get answers on anything you have. Alot of very nice people here that are eager to help. Don't feel bad about asking anything, no one here looks down on newbies, or anyone who thinks they have a stupid question.

Welcome to SMF Corky. You might try Lowes for the Char-Griller or try Home Depot of a Charbroil Silver Smoker. Here are the links to their sites
At lowes you will need to purchase the side fire box seperate.

Home Depot sells the Char Griller also but only on line they carry the Sivler Smoker in the store.

Welcome and good luck on the search. I have the Char Griller w/side fire box. I have used it with wood only, charcoal only, and mixed. It is pretty versatile and reasonably priced. And this site is full of ideas for mods!!!!!PDT_Armataz_01_11.gif
