Hi All, got a Great Outdoors Grill Co. 34" Smoky Mountain Gas Smoker Model No. 3405GW from my wife for x-mas. Bless her. Tried to smoke once on my gas grill with little success. My wife must of remembered.
I've signed up for the five day course. And have been reading allot so I can make her proud she bought the smoker for me. Smoke adds so much to flavor. Can't wait to try.
So basically I'm new to this, I love the out doors and a beer doesn't hurt at times ether.
Hope to learn all the secrets you all have to becoming a great smoker.

Welcome to the SMF, I have the same model GOSM, it's great. Be sure you season it. Remember questions are welcome here and we love Q-View. You must have a great wife to get you that.

Welcome to SMF and congrats on a great gift! Hopefully your wife likes Eau D' Hickory cologne...you'll be wearing that alot from now on! :{) Enjoy

Haven't been a member here long but have been smoking for awhile, seems like pretty good folks here. Great wife! What part of Ohio you from? About half way between Cincy and Columbus for me.

Hi Jake
