Thought we would try doing some of the beef Prime Rib Bones in the smoker again. They sure are nice hunks of meat.

We wanted to try something else new that I had never done. Heard alot about them, but finally got around to trying the famous ABTs (Atomic Buffalo Turds)

Jalapenos cored and cleaned, then filled with a sour cream and sharp cheddar cheese, topped with a Lil Smoky Sausage, then wrapped in bacon.

After marinading the Prime Ribs overnight in Mojo, we thru them on the GOSM charcoal smoker, along with some Sweet Potatoes and the ABT's

Smoked the Ribs for about 3 hours, pulled at 145º internal. Sweet Potatoes don't take as long as Baked style, so out at the same time.

The ABT's. (Took 2 hours) Wow, both the wife and I were impressed and we will be doing up around 1 1/2 lbs of them for our Christmas brunch with the neighbors tomorrow.

And NO, I did not eat that big chunk of meat all by myself.

That is some awesome color on those beef ribs Flash!! How was the texture?

The only thing I got close to rib bones here are the ones still attached to rib roasts that I'll be cutting into steaks for grilling later today!

They are wonderful dutch, like cutting in to a fine steak. Very moist and juicy too. Your tempted just to pick up the rib bone and start knawing. Of course Scooter starts whining at that sight. That's his job.

How well do you know your butcher? I know mine very well since he is the softball coach at the HS. I found out they get these large beef bone roast in and cut them apart, down to the small short ribs. I just intercept them before they go anywhere near that far. He was going to get me a roast with 8 rib bones in it. I had them cut them individually and do them as I do my beef boned ribs.

Know what you mean. My Beagle Kobe will start running through his repertoire of tricks anytime he sees anyone with a meat bone in their hand. If his tricks donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t work, heâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]ll start whining and when that fails he begins to bark which promptly gets him booted out the back door with NO bone.

We did 40 more ABT's at a small party last nite for the neighbor couples. Grilled some tenderloins, meatballs, rollups, veggie tray and desserts. Way too much food. Only 5 ABT's survived.

Looks like they were a hit. Even had one guy want MORE heat.
