A few years ago I got some shake n bake bbq style for some chicken cooked in the oven, kind of melted and looked like a glaze. Had another packet of the stuff left and decided to put it in my rib rub. I.m not sure what else I put in the rub, wish I took notes. Anywhy It tasted darn good and did it one more time. Has anyone else tried this? If so how was it and did you take notes. Really It was good.

Nothing dumb about it, if it taste good then mark it as a success!

That sounds interesting Fritz, I might have to give it a try.
Thank you for sharing!

Yes, but they do make a bbq style too with no bread crums. Its a red powder, I think it has sugar in it because it creates or melts into a glaze, it also has spices in it.

I use to use the Shake and Bake Bar-b-que for Pork. They always came out very moist. Loved it, but found out there was a good amount of salt in it and had to stop. Sure was good though
