After a working in the Bering Sea as a deckhand on a deep sea trawler, several years in an aluminum smelter, and several more as working in a steel shop, I opened a small tavern 9 years ago.

Two years ago I moved it to a new location that gave me some more room to play.

I pour 24 taps of the finest NW beers, have nearly 100 whiskeys, and have specialized in gourmet grilled cheese since day one. Last year I built an outdoor kitchen on our 1400 square foot deck that overlooks the Pacific Ocean. We custom ordered a smoker from Yoder Smokers and rock the best BBQ anywhere around us.

Beer, whiskey, BBQ and live music almost every day. It's not a bad life.

Retired from the fire service on 12/31/12 after 32 years on the job. Absolutely was the best job in the world, I miss it sometimes, but not the BS I dealt with as a chief officer. [emoji]128526[/emoji]

I'm a Power Systems Controller for a small power company in southern Nevada.  I began here in 1973 as a ground-man, then apprentice, and then lineman.  Later several years as a foreman then into the Dispatch center to control the transmission, substations, and dispatch crews to trouble or outages.  We work a rotating shift to cover 24/7 and at my age (upper 50's) it's killing me.  I really need my beauty rest.

I spent 35 years in the printing industry selling supplies and equipment. I was laid off a year ago. I now work for Laird Plastics and sell into the plastics and wide format markets in the 4 states surrounding MN.

I work for 1 and 1 Internet inc. I am head of their Build and Run department which is responsible for all hardware above our data center raised floor. We currently have over 20,000 servers in our building and two other off site locations downtown Kansas City.

I am retired and a lover of smoking meat.  I lost my two smokers during our ice storm and haven't had a chance to replace them.  I need to see if a Masterbuilt is a good smoker.  I use to have a Bradley digital and a Brinkman Charcoal smoker.  Let me know if anyone has any suggestions on the Masterbuilt.

Thanks

Doug Weaver
