Is there someplace that shows mods for this unit?

I have been given good advice on a couple of thing like sand and chunks etc... from Dude-Richtee, bubba and others but I would like to take advantage of the experience of others before I fire it up.

Someone said Larry Maddock has a thread on this but I can't find it?

Plug it in, put sand in the pan, set chunk's on pan, install meat and smoke!!

Seriously, we gave you all the info you need to use that pit, now fire that baby up and get to smokin!!

The only other mod I did to my Brinkmann Gourmet was to drill a small hole in the side, just under the top grate. I stick a digital thermometer probe through the hole and can accurately measure the temp where the meat is. Other than that, unpack them and smoke!
