My name is Kathy, I have a 3 burner Grill Zone gas BBQ, I am a beginner when it comes to smoking things. I'm going to hopefully do some turkies this weekend. I have done a few chickens whole and pieces and they were great also turkey hindquarters.I live in Clarkston WA.
I hope to invest in a smoker some day soon just not sure what to be looking for

Welcome Kathy to smf. As for smokers I started with the smoke-n-pit but added the GOSM gasser and am probably not done with buying yet. So I might not have the best advice on which type but I would like to have one of each.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
