I'm wish to try this, but I don't like curry

That looks like it could be pretty tasty (although I've never had sea kelp).

I'm not sure what experience you've had with curry, but there is quite a wide variety of curries out there from hot to sweet. You might want to give this a look.

If I figured it right, the closest Penzey's to you is in Birmingham. They have all their seasonings in jars so you can take off the lid and see how they smell before you buy.
 
Maybe you could tweak the curry recipe to come up with something you like........or identify what you don't like in it.
