well today was smoke day, had 5 loin roast's rubbed with tenderquick and sugar, this is the first two off the smoker...these were done with alder, the last three are in the smoker with a mix of hickory and apple...

Smoked, those look great. I did one a few months ago to see if we would like it and it turned out great, but haven't had or taken time to do any more. The one I did didn't last long, as I cooked it completely, and after it cooled I sliced it and put it in the fridge. Every time the Mrs. or I walked past we had to have another slice. It didn't make it much past 24 hours and GONE. Need to get some more made. Keep up the good work.
 
we have the same problem here...that's why it's 5 this time....but even that won't last long

Good job Smoked! You always make great looks bacons!

I need to do some for work soon. for a nice little breakfast for 30. Debating if it should be candian or buckboard to go with the bacon. What do you think?
 
yea, sliced up one of the alder and one of the hickory/apple mix ones today and we have been munching on them....so good......
