Hello all,

I am pretty new to smoking, going on about 4 months now. I however have been an avid griller for over 16 years. Grilling out all year long in any kind of weather. I use propane for the grilling and Have my ECB for smoking. The propane is because I used to work for a gas company and well, know pretty much all there is to know about that. I go through 8 to 10 tanks of gas a year. As far as the ECB, well I wanted something that I knew worked and was cheap, just to get started. I have been looking for something a little better and will make that move sometime. Kinda funny $900 gas grill, $30 smoker. I have been really looking at the char griller pro.
Anyways talk to you soon

Welcome to the SMF. You have found a fellowship of people who love to help others in the fine art of smoking and cooking that will knock your socks off. No other cooking site can even match up to this group. We are #1(not to toot our own horn) but it is true. This the largest family you'll ever see.

Welcome ds7662!,
I'm a newbie to this site too, but I've been smoking for a bunch of years. You came to the right place, I've got a real education the last few weeks and mighty hungry too.
