Hi, my name's Chuck. I live in the Piney Woods of East Texas, I love to make BBQ, but I don't eat as much smoked meat as I used to because it has gotten to giving me severe heartburn, so i just smoke it lightly. I Have several smokers from a countertop model to a pro smoker. I just found this forum and I can't wait to dig in and discover what y'all are doing with this fascinating pastime. I also like to make my own beer.

Welcome, glad ya found us. Maybe someone here has had the heart burn problem and share what they have done to their methods to prevent it. lots of great info to had here.
