My name is Kurt and I joined back in June, I have been reading forums and other stuff on smokin for a few years now and finally bought a smoker, actually I bought a smoker from Grizzly tool store that was made out of thick tin foil, we sent that back and ran down to Cabela's and bought a Masterbuilt Electric Smoker and have been having some fun. Our favorite to smoke is brisket and beef chuck roasts and boneless pork loins,

About us, we live near Princeton Minnesota, I install fire sprinklers and my wife and I own a beauty salon, we have two grown kids and anyday now our first grand daughter, in our free time we ride Goldwing alot and camp and also ATV's, also we have a small woodworking business doing signs on a Compucarve and picture frames and small tables that we display at the beauty shop.

I hope to learn alot more about smoking

Welcome aboard Kurt, you came to the right place for all things smokin'!

Have fun, ask questions, share your experiences!

Kurt, welcome in! I sold my Goldwing about 3 1/2 years ago. They're nice bikes! Today, Linda and I went and bought two new Yamaha Majesty's. We're going to have some fun on those.

Anyway, I look forward to your input here. I hope you'll be posting pictures of each of your smokes. We sure do like those a lot!

We're glad you're here!
