I know this is not for everyone, but I like to try different things, so hereâ€™s my Aloha Fatty. Flatten out sausage and then sprinkle with mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and powdered honey. Create 3 wide rows of fresh banana, shredded coconut and crushed pineapples. Carefully fold and seal the ends. Coat sausage with Kahlua, and then sprinkle with slivered almonds ( I had no crushed macadamia). Place in BBQ at/near 225Â° using apple wood. After 1 Â½ hrs. give it another shot of Kahlua. Smoke it till inside temperature hits 170Â° and remove. Let cool before slicing. I like the island blend of flavors along with the sausage. Stay tuned for my next adventure...
