Thighs brined and smoked

Over the week, I decided to take a crack at brining chicken... had a packet of chicken thighs and used Debi's brining recipe from her web site. No photo though, sorry...(it was chicken thighs resting in cloudy liquid anyway

Well, smoked with some hickory for a couple hours and came out juicy, tasty and crispy skin. The wife loved it... Thanks Debi for your informative site.

That caught me completely off guard, it looks delicious !!! Not that I did not expect it from you, but that looks great.....
 
Tried to keep it as hot as possible but the wind was playin havoc with my temps... stayed around 230-250 and kept them close to the firebox.
