Smoking my second 5lb pork butt. Half way thru decided to throw on my first meatloaf. Didn't do anything fancy so no need to go into the particulars but here are my pix. Everyone always wants them so here we go.
well ok. Rubbed w/ mustard. jeff's rub. hickory. wrapped at 160deg. at 170 now. Pull at 200. fla jeff's finishing sauce.

meat loaf wife recipe but w/ chedder added. This was about a 2lbs. It was done in 2 hrs at 235deg. seemed way fast. when i finally checked it, when i was wrapping the pork, it was already at 180!!!!. pulled it. did not even get time to put a sauce on it. it is really good anyway.

I may post some pix of the pork pulled but I will probably be to busy eating.

I like the meat loaf pan, I used a throw away pan but that looks a lot better. Oh yea the rest of the food looks good too. Seriously great looking job.

Sounds bout right to me. Looks great. I love smoked meatloaf. Now you wont be able to eat meatloaf any other way. Pork butt looks great too. Eat a sammich for me.

was a gift from my sister. it is bbq pan for fish. has a handle that attaches to holes on the side wall. very hand to have a handle. works great in this application also.

I was going off of DeeJay's recipe from her site. It says about 3hrs so i figured I had plenty of time but now I know. It it is not dry but it is done. Can add the sauce afterwards. all is good. the pulled pork is what we are waiting for. mmmm

It is so much fun when your plan comes together even if it is a little quicker than expected. Nice adventure with awesome results.

Looks great, nice pics. I love smoked meatloaf and I also like that pan. I have a flat ventilated pan but the sides aren't as deep as yours.

Nothing like seeing pics of great food surrounded by the thin blue smoke.
